THE FIRST ROAST GOCKEL WAS SERVED PERSONALLY BY AGATHE STEINACHER AS EARLY AS 1916 -

Our beer garden
If the temperatures allow, we also like to serve on the terrace under the old lime tree, as King Ludwig II once did. He sat on our terrace in the Allgäu restaurant over 100 years ago and probably had a view of the Allgäu mountains directly opposite.
Take a break here on your bike tour or hike and enjoy a cool drink with a view of the Alpine panorama! In the afternoon, the Gockelwirt also offers a fine selection of cakes - perfect for an enjoyable break.

The host personally prepares his specialties in a cosy atmosphere - game and duck dishes are particularly popular with guests. Freshly harvested, dew-fresh asparagus awaits you during the asparagus season. Let us spoil you with culinary delights!
