Our beer garden
If the temperatures allow, we also like to serve on the terrace under the old lime tree, as King Ludwig II once did. He sat on our terrace in the Allgäu restaurant over 100 years ago and probably had a view of the Allgäu mountains directly opposite.
Take a break here on your bike tour or hike and enjoy a cool drink with a view of the Alpine panorama! In the afternoon, the Gockelwirt also offers a fine selection of cakes - perfect for an enjoyable break.

At the Gockelwirt Füssen not only our hotel guests are welcome, but of course also all external guests. Enjoy our Allgäu specialties in a cozy atmosphere. When the weather is fine, we are also happy to welcome you in our beautiful beer garden
Does the restaurant also serve vegetarian dishes?
Of course, we also offer our guests vegetarian delicacies. We attach great importance to seasonal and regional ingredients. At the Gockelwirt Füssen, the landlord himself is still in the kitchen and prepares the food with heart and mind. So you know what's on your plate.
How far is it from Füssen to Restaurant Gockelwirt?
The Gockelwirt is only a stone's throw away from Füssen. You can reach our restaurant in Eisenberg by car in about 10 minutes.
Are there enough parking spaces at the restaurant?
There are plenty of parking spaces available at the Gockelwirt. You can park in the parking lot directly in front of the restaurant.
How do I get to the restaurant by public transport?
There is a bus stop directly in front of the Landgasthof. Our guests can use public transportation (bus and train) free of charge. We will be happy to help you.
Is overnight accommodation available for private parties and company celebrations?
You are welcome to combine your company celebration with overnight stays in our country inn. We offer special corporate rates for company celebrations. Ask us - we will make you an individual offer for your company party at the Gockelwirt.
Where do the chickens come from?
We source our chickens from the Wech family in Austria. There, they place a special emphasis on quality, animal welfare, and responsible farming practices—the foundation for the flavor you’ll find on your plate.
