The Hotel Gockelwirt is located in the middle of the Allgäu and therefore offers you the opportunity to organize seminars and training courses where others go on vacation. With us you can combine work and vacation in an uncomplicated way. The relaxed atmosphere with a view of the Allgäu mountains guarantees concentrated work, while a variety of supporting programs are possible in your free time. The joint activities also promote team cohesion and thus have a positive influence on everyday working life.
Does the hotel have the necessary equipment for a conference?
Our conference room is 50 square meters in size and can accommodate up to 24 people. It has modern technical equipment, including a projector and W-LAN. The Gockelwirt is in a pleasantly quiet location - but you can reach the old town of Füssen by car in just ten minutes, and public transport is also within walking distance. Important: Our conference rooms are separated from the rest of the hotel to allow you to work undisturbed. In addition, you are always the only conference or seminar organizer at our hotel, so that sufficient peace and privacy is guaranteed. Last but not least, you benefit from first-class catering at our conference hotel in the Allgäu, consisting of various menus and special break offers.
What leisure activities are available?
During a conference or seminar at the Gockelwirt, participants can spend their free time in a variety of ways - for example with walks, hikes, bike tours, cable car rides or a guided tour of a cheese dairy. In the cold season, the Allgäu is also a paradise for winter sports fans, as it is a great place for skiing, snowboarding and snowshoeing. The wellness offer at our conference hotel in the Allgäu is also varied and has something to suit every taste. Whether sauna or massage: after a long seminar day, there is nothing better than being pampered - and at the Gockelwirt you and the seminar participants receive a 10 percent discount on all wellness and beauty treatments.
Is the location of the Gockelwirt suitable for seminars in the Allgäu?
The Gockelwirt is connected to the A7 highway and is therefore easily accessible for seminar and conference participants. Of course, there is also local public transport, which you can use free of charge with our GuestCard if you use the Gockelwirt as a conference hotel in the Allgäu. Füssen with its numerous shopping facilities is not far away, and there are also hiking and cycling trails virtually on the doorstep. Our conference hotel is located directly below the castle ruins of Hohenfreyberg and Eisenberg. For an exciting excursion with all seminar participants, we also recommend the royal castles, which are only 15 minutes away by car.
