Spring in the Allgäu is undoubtedly the most enchanting and vibrant season in our region. After the long winter months, nature awakens to new life and transforms the landscape into a picturesque paradise. The spectacle is particularly impressive when the dandelions are in full bloom. Entire meadows are transformed into bright yellow carpets that sway gently in the wind and form a beautiful contrast to the lush green of the surrounding forests and mountains. This play of colors is a feast for the eyes and invites you to enjoy nature to the fullest.

Where is the country hotel in the Allgäu?
Near Pfronten in the Ostallgäu, directly in front of the Allgäu Alps, idyllic and absolutely quiet! Below the castle ruins of Hohenfrey and Eisenberg The old town of Füssen is only 10 km away. Numerous mountain railroads, spas and the royal castles of Neuschwanstein are within easy reach. Hiking and cycling trails from the hotel doorstep
When are check in and check out?
Your room is ready for occupancy from 15:00! Departure should take place by 11:00 am. Would you like a late check-out or arrive later than 20:00? No problem - just let us know by phone or e-mail!
Is half board/breakfast available?
Naturally! Enjoy our Allgäu breakfast automatically with every booking. You can also book (even spontaneously) our gourmet half-board. Good food and feasting are a tradition in our family!
Is there a swimming pool in the hotel?
Yes, our hotel has a pool with a bubble plate and lighting, a relaxation and lounging area with a tea bar and fresh fruit. Access to the spa terrace
Are there parking spaces at the hotel?
Of course! Sufficient parking spaces are available free of charge.
How far is it to Forggensee?
Lake Forggensee near Füssen is 10 km away and can be reached quickly by car or bus. But there is also a nice bike ride to the lake (approx. 50 minutes).
Can I hike directly from the hotel?
Yes, the foothills of the Alps begin around the hotel and you can set off on a hike or bike tour in the Allgäu directly from here. There are also many mountain railroads and hiking areas in the immediate vicinity, for example:
- Breitenberg Pfronten
- Tegelberg Schwangau
- Alpspitz Nesselwang
- Buchenberg near Halblech
- More hiking in the Allgäu
Can I hire bicycles on site?
Yes, we rent bicycles directly from the hotel. If you are planning a bike tour, please let reception know one day in advance. Our staff will then ensure that the desired bike (e-bike, mountain bike, trekking bike, all-round bike, etc.) in the right size is ready for you the next day.
