We ask you to keep your dog on a leash in the entire hotel area and never leave it unattended.
If you leave your pet alone in the hotel room, please hang the "Do not disturb - dog in room" sign on the outside of your door. None of our staff will then enter the room.
If you do not want to leave your pet alone in the room during mealtimes, please let us know in good time so that we can reserve a table in our restaurant area with your dog. Please note that there are also other dogs in the restaurant area.
For reasons of hygiene, dogs are not permitted in our entire spa area.
Please understand that any damage caused by your dog will be charged to you.

From Pfronten Kappel, you can visit the Gasthof Engel, a dog-friendly inn where you and your four-legged friend can fortify yourselves after a walk and relax on the sun terrace. A real insider tip for those who want to experience the unspoiled Allgäu with their four-legged friend is the Grundhütte. The circular walk near Pfronten Röfleuten takes you and your dog through picturesque meadows and forests and it is not uncommon for your little friend to meet other four-legged friends here.
If there is one place in the Allgäu that deserves the title "must-see with a dog", then it is certainly the Hündleskopfhütte. High above Pfronten, this hut offers a view that is second to none. The impressive panorama stretches across the entire Alpine foothills. And while you enjoy the cozy hut atmosphere, your dog can relax from its lovely run.

For high alpine hikes, we recommend a well-fitting chest harness with a handle.
If you are unsure whether your four-legged friend is sure-footed, it is better to avoid the more challenging paths.
If you want to use public transportation, find out in advance whether a muzzle is required for your dog.
Don't forget dog waste bags! Droppings on the meadows can make our cows ill and also spoil the enjoyment of other people's walks.
Just like you, your dogs should also stay well hydrated. Therefore, always pack enough water and a bowl. On longer tours, it is advisable to give your faithful companion a little refreshment.
Do I have to bring my own drinking bowl, dog bed and dog blanket to the hotel?
If you are planning your stay in one of our dog-friendly rooms at the dog hotel in the Allgäu, you can safely leave some of your dog's utensils at home. When you arrive, you will find a bowl, a dog towel and a blanket for your four-legged friend in your room. Your dog will also find a little treat surprise waiting for him to give him a warm welcome.
For all those who would like to explore the surrounding area, a folder with recommended walks and the most beautiful routes in the immediate vicinity is available. Does your dog want to sleep as comfortably as you do? We also offer dog beds on request. And to keep the area clean, we provide you with dog waste bags.
